Keep Children Away From Portable Generators

Children should never be allowed around a portable generator while it is running because of the hot surfaces which can burn them and the risk of electrical shock from the unit. Children are fascinated with things they are supposed to stay away from, so it may be a good idea to enclose the generator with a fence and include a locking gate to keep them out.
